The Fox and Hounds Pub was once a very successful destination pub with fabulous food and a B and B. This much-loved 17th–century Cotswold gem has now been lost to the community as the owners have been given residential planning permission. This was despite a long-running campaign, strong local support and an Appeal in the High Court. To raise money for the Campaign, we held around 50 Pop-up Pubs which were a great success. We can’t thank our supporters enough for their determination and generosity throughout the last 10 years.

The Campaign team will be continuing to hold Pop-up Pubs and events in and around Great and Little Wolford. We hope that that local people will enjoy them and keep the warm community spirit of the Fox and Hounds very much alive.
